What is GCA?

Rules and Regulations 5.1.7: Divisions may require members of foreign divisions to obtain a Guest Controller Approval before being allowed to log in on FRA restricted positions. Divisions shall announce their participation and publish their requirements on the division’s web site.
GCA program was created by IVAO HQ to improve the ATC quality provided in all participating active divisions. It concerns foreign divisions’ controllers who are interested in controlling in Iran. Any member of other divisions will not be allowed to control in Iran on FRA restricted positions unless they receive approval from the division HQ. Restricted positions are listed here


What are  requiremets?

The user shall perform the ATC duties in the English or Persian language only.
The user must have sufficient knowledge of the general procedures applied in Iran Division.
The user should be familiar with the selected area.
A theoretical and/or practical check may be performed.
The GCA can be withdrawn at any time by IR Division HQ if the requirements are not met any more.
Member must respect IVAO Rules and Regulations at all times.
Iran Division reserves the right to decline requests.
